Mike Flores
Mike is President of Championship Strategies Inc, a public affairs and communications consulting firm with a focus on community and government relations for over 20 years.
Mike has worked with many high profile clients including Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA),, Raytheon Corporation, UCLA, the City of Baldwin Park, Coro Southern California, Santa Barbara City College, the City of Oxnard, and Southwest Voter Registration Education Project (SVREP).
While working with these clients, he has been a consultant for government relations for all of Southern California, assisted in public sector captures, provided public awareness campaigns, made presentations to local and state elected officials and has made community presentations on behalf of clients.
Additionally, prior to starting Championship Strategies, he worked for 15 years in a university setting, as an instructor and administrator at UCLA, University of Hawaii, San Jose State University, the University of Hawaii and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Mike has been involved at the highest levels of community service including past President and Chairman of the East Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club, Vice President of the UCLA Alumni Association, Chair of the UCLA Hall of Fame Committee and Board of Directors of the Inglewood YMCA and the Westside YMCA.
Mike is a graduate of UCLA (where he was a starting QB) and has offices in Costa Mesa. He is passionate about the mission of Hunter’s Heart and making a difference in the lives of young men.
