Melissa Russiano
Melissa Russiano is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in private practice for the last fourteen years after a long career in nonprofit administration. In addition to her private practice, Melissa works at Vanderbilt University and is an adjunct for two online graduate programs inspiring the next generation of helping professionals.
Melissa is passionate about partnering with professionals to avoid burnout and find the balance they are seeking so that they can thrive while helping others. She can effectively work with professionals to avoid perfectionism, imposter syndrome and burnout, as well as to help them find the balance they are seeking in their lives. Melissa is an active Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator based on the research of Brené Brown, PhD. She is a graduate of Florida State University, where she had a clinical focus on Crisis Administration.
Melissa lives in Nashville, Tennessee but prefers the lakes instead of downtown! She practices virtually in the states of California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, and Tennessee. Melissa has known Hunter since before he was born. From being on call during the delivery to riding Dumbo with Hunter as a little boy (and his favorite black sunglasses at the time!) to spending time at the beach house when he was a teenager. He is a part of many of Melissa & Shana’s adventures with memories that will always bring both laughter, and tears, to Melissa’s eyes. She is thrilled to be on the board of Hunter's Heart and looks forward to being part of the mission.
